Hidden Values

Be Your Own Boss!

To be a successful publisher you must be able to work on your own and have sales experience. Part of your daily activity will be to call on businesses that should be involved in your Directory. However, unlike most advertising sales, ” The Sale” is normally a one-time “sale.” Once a business becomes involved in your Directory they will be pleased with their results and stay in you Directory for years.

After the initial sale your business is one of servicing the account by including them in your Directory each month. Your ads can be compared to an oil well. Once you sell the ad, the ad continues to work and reap benefits for you and your advertisers.
Our individual owners enjoy having their own business and being their own boss!
We will consult with you, make available our “Confidential Training Manual,” a proven operating system and supply you with the master forms, agreements, logos, etc…everything you will need to operate your own business.

As the publishing company, Hidden Values® will oversee the printing of your Directories.

Bascially, we will supply you with all the information you need to start your successful business and have your Directories printed and shipped to you.

Kevin J. Andrews Orthodontics

AndrewsBracesLogokevinDr. Kevin J. Andrews is an artist, but he doesn’t work with oils or watercolors, he works with teeth. Using wire, plastic, glue and bits of metal, he produces world-class smiles in his orthodontic office at 2125 Green Vista Drive, Sparks, Nevada. He’s a guy who loves what he’s doing and can’t imagine doing anything else!

Dr. Andrews was raised in Southern California and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda Dental School in 1988. He practiced dentistry for two years before returning to school to specialize in orthodontics. He then moved back to Reno where two generations of his family have lived. Dr. Andrews is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, a certified Diplomate of the National Board of Orthodontics and the Former President of the Nevada Orthodontic Association, for the state of Nevada.

In September of 1993, he bought a small practice in Reno and has built it up to its present level. In February 1998, Dr. Andrews relocated his practice to Sparks, Nevada and since then has been welcoming patients to his well-appointed office across from Wildcreek Golf Course. There, he and his team offer what he calls “personalized orthodontics.”

Dr. Kevin J. Andrews is a specialist in smiles. He uses the latest technology to give his patients a new sense of self and says he gets the most satisfaction from, “Knowing that we’re setting our patients up for good health and positive self-images for the rest of their lives. It’s important to me that when they come here, we make them feel special and they do – you can see it in their smiles!” “About 20% of our patients are adults between the ages of 25 and 45,” he says, “although I’ve treated patients as young as 4 years old, and as old as 74.”

The first visit to Dr. Andrews involves an orthodontic evaluation that includes an x-ray, visual examination and computerized digital imaging photographs of the patient’s teeth and face which gives the patient and the doctor a full color view.

Mathnasium

MathnasiumLogoEvery day, students around the world attend Mathnasium learning centers to boost their math skills. We are highly specialized; we teach only math. Members usually attend two or three times a week for about an hour.

Our goal is to significantly increase your child’s math skills, understanding of math concepts, and overall school performance, while building confidence and forging a positive attitude toward the subject.

Children don’t hate math.
They hate being confused and intimidated by math.
With understanding comes passion.
And with passion comes growth—a treasure is unlocked.

Our approach is to use sophisticated techniques to determine, with great accuracy, what a student knows and does not know. Next, we tailor-make a personalized and prescriptive learning program. Each student follows the program with the help of specially trained Mathnasium math tutors who provide instruction—and lots of warm encouragement. For proof of progress, we rely on the student’s report card, independent tests, and parent testimony to measure the speed and magnitude of improvement in math skills, numerical thinking, and attitude.

Muzic Fuze

Muzic FuzeRemember those favorite songs of yours from back when you were a kid? Isn’t it amazing that when you hear these songs again now, sometimes years after hearing them, that you still remember the lyrics, the rhythm, the guitar or piano solo. These songs take you back to that time and you can be overcome with emotions from your past. Do you ever imagine singing or playing that song in front of a crowd of people, cheering your every move? Or maybe just around the campfire with a few friends? There is just something about music that binds each and every human being on the planet.

The vision of Muzic Fuze is to tap into this common bond that we all share. To create an environment where beginner, intermediate, and professional musicians alike can share their life experiences, be comfortable expressing themselves, and find inspiration doing what they love to do…playing and making music. All are welcome, without fear of judgment. In fact, everyone is encouraged, and maybe even sometimes required (for fun) to pick up an instrument and play a note, even if you have no idea what sound is about to come out.

And this holds especially true for children. There are too many places that are not kid friendly. There are too many places with signs that say “DO NOT TOUCH”. If a person, especially a child, cannot try, is not allowed to touch, then how will they ever know if they are interested in learning to play an instrument? How will they ever know if deep down within their soul there is a musical talent or hidden inspiration just waiting to explode out of them?

So come in to Muzic Fuze, see what we are all about, and prepare to be inspired.

Sierra Therapy Group

The Sierra Therapy Group is a team of speech-language pathologists & occupational therapists committed to improving children’s speech-language and life/adaptive skills. We are proud to provide speech pathology & occupational therapy services for children in Reno, Sparks, Carson City, Lake Tahoe, Fernley, Gardnerville, & the greater Northern Nevada area.

Our Philosophy

Our therapeutic sessions are driven by the following philosophies to best serve our clients:

Family-Centered

“In every conceivable manner, the family is link to our past, bridge to our future.” Alex Haley

Since most communication and life skills take place at home and in the community, it is essential for us to work closely with families. We provide not only quality intervention, but we also provide caregivers with strategies to facilitate their children’s speech-language and life skills in everyday routines, such as grocery shopping and mealtimes.

Empowerment

“If you want your children to improve, let them overhear the nice things you say about them to others.” Haim Ginott

Successful communication and interactions with others enhance and cultivate self-esteem. Success with life skills in everyday activities also enhances and cultivates self-esteem. We empower children by using a child-directed therapeutic model. We also empower parents by showing them how they can scaffold successful communication and life skills. We focus on individual strengths and interests of each family to target specific goals. We also provide treatment based on the child’s strengths and weaknesses, not within the box of a specific diagnosis, if a child has one.

Play

“Play is the beginning of knowledge.” Anonymous

Play is the primary focus of our therapy. Because learning is an interactive process, we use hands-on activities and games that allow children to participate actively in our sessions. This naturalistic approach allows children to have fun and improve their communication and life skills at the same time.

Step Into Music

Founded in 1987, Step Into Music offers quality music and movement classes for young children, newborns through 7 years, and violin instruction for children 5 years and older. Activities are developmentally appropriate and are based on current research about brain and cognitive development. We aim to give children a wonderful musical start and to encourage a lifetime of musical enjoyment.
