Connecting at-home dads and their kids to play and learn
The goal of FATHRS is to meet with our kids at playgrounds, rec centers, and field trips. While the children learn how to interact with others their age in a social context, FATHRS provides a support network for dads to reduce the isolation felt by many who stay at home. The kids aren't the only ones who need interaction! Getting together with other dads at playgrounds, Dad's Night out, Dad's Breakfast, and other FATHRS functions opens an often unexpected door to fun, camaraderie and friendships.
Fathers AT Home in Reno-Sparks is a network of dads who stay at home with their children, some part time, some full-time, united by our commitment to our families. All are welcome (even Moms :)).
Membership in FATHRS is free and includes the following benefits:
- FATHRS playgroups and field trips.
- Dad's Night out, FATHRS family events
