VSA Nevada celebrates March as the nationally recognized Youth Art Month at the historic Lake Mansion. The exhibited artwork is from 900 workshops the non-profit conducts throughout the community in classrooms for children with special needs in grades kindergarten through twelfth. Visitors will be treated to artwork created by over 200 students! Exhibit hours are Monday-Friday 9am-4pm and on Saturday, March 20 from 10am-2pm. The highlight of the exhibit is the Youth Art Month Festival on March 20 when kids of all ages and abilities are invited to the mansion to participate in eight hands-on art workshops and tours of the mansion from 10am-2pm. Admission to the mansion and Youth Art Month Festival are free.
