- Art On Earth - Summer Art

Come explore mixed media art projects at half-day camps held Tuesdays, Wednesdays
or Thursdays in two, 4-week sessions this summer. Children will enjoy different
projects in each of the sessions. Ages 3 and up. Time: 10am-noon, or 1pm-3pm. Session
One: Tuesdays June10-July 1, Wednesdays June 11-July2, or Thursdays June 12-3. Session

Jump start the next school year with the Center for Advanced Learning, Inc.’s 1/2
day sessions focusing on math, reading, and writing. The fluency camp combines small-group
and 1:1 instruction to focus on fluency-building in basic reading and math skills,
concept-building in language arts and advanced mathematics, and a prototype-construction

- Global Kids Camp

This year's Global Kids camp experience will focus on the history, life, culture,
art and language of Nevada's Native Americans. Camp participants will learn about
the rich heritage of our indigenous people by listening to storytellers, dancing,
painting and studying the history of local tribes such as the Washoe, Paiute, Western
Shoshone, etc. Campers will attend field trips to the Pyramid Lake Indian Reservation
and Museum. Participants are expected to bring a snack and lunch plus bottled water

Summer Camp for children ages 5-7. This fun filled camp begins at 10:00 with a 45
minute yoga session. Children will learn yoga postures through song, storytelling,
partner poses, and creative yoga games. 11:00-12:30 Boys and girls participate in
a Young Rembrandts Cartoon Class introducing original playful monsters. They will
learn to draw wild faces, exaggerated features and scary bodies. At 12:30 camp concludes
and children can stay for open play at The Playroom. Cost is $75.00 for three (3)
day camp.

Young Rembrandts and Yoga with Mery have partnered with The Playroom to offer a

Princess Camp and learn to draw ourselves in "glamour" wear. Each day we will have
fun drawing accessories, faces with crowns and hats, and figures wearing fancy gowns
and accessories. At 12:30 camp concludes and children can stay for open play at
The Playroom. Cost is $75.00 for a three (3) day camp.
